    Good question. I'm not 100% sure what the plans are. Maybe just the finals?

    I'll have to see if I can find out...

    2012 Swimming Olympic Trials were televised on NBC every night for all 8 nights, and it set new records so I assume something similar for this year.

    164,000 people attended the event!

    June 27 6:30 p.m. Olympic Trials - Qualifying Heats NBC Sports Net.
    8:00 p.m. Olympic Trials - Finals NBC

    June 28 7:00 p.m. Olympic Trials - Qualifying Heats NBC Sports Net.
    8:00 p.m. Olympic Trials - Finals NBC

    June 29 7:00 p.m. Olympic Trials - Qualifying Heats NBC Sports Net.
    8:00 p.m. Olympic Trials - Finals NBC

    June 30 6:30 p.m. Olympic Trials - Qualifying Heats NBC Sports Net.
    8:00 p.m. Olympic Trials - Finals NBC

    July 1 6:00 p.m. Olympic Trials - Qualifying Heats NBC Sports Net.

    So prelim coverage will be on NBC Sports Network.

    How fast is this meet? I know time standards were posted a while back, but does anyone have a chart or a graph showing how times have dropped for the last few Oly trials?

    I found this article from about a year and a half ago on Swim-Swam. I was surprised that qualifying times haven't changed as much as I thought. In fact, in some events the qualifying times are actually SLOWER than they were 20 years ago.

    Hotels are pretty much sold out. There's some other event (little league or some youth sports event) going on the same weekend. Wouldnt' think Omaha would be a hot spot like this. Anyone know why Trials keeps going back to Omaha? It's not easy to get too and doesn't have much to offer.
